Competition Categories

• Gumbo: Low-and-slow Louisiana tradition in a bowl.
• Jambalaya: One pot, big flavor, deep Cajun roots.
• Étouffée: Smothered, rich, and unforgettable.

Grand Champion

To be crowned Grand Champion, teams must compete in all 3 categories and have the highest combined total score. Three Champions. One Grand Champion.

SCCA Sanctioning

This is an official SCCA sanctioned competition. Results count toward 2027 season standings.

Attendee Rules

• Family-friendly event: no outside alcohol, no coolers, no tents.
• No pets (service animals welcome).
• Please respect the cook teams' stations.
• Place all trash in the trash receptacles.
• Wristbands must remain on for re-entry.

Tasting Rules

• Only AYCE or VIP wristbands may sample cook team dishes.
• Go back as many times as you want, while supplies last.
• Only VIP wristbands get tastes from The Cajun Two Step Experience.
